| 抄録: | エコツーリズムは1980年代後半から観光の一形態として認知され，1990年代から特に注目を集めている観光分野である。それは与える負荷を最小限にしながら自然環境を学習し，かつその魅力を享受する観光である。しかし，地域におけるエコツーリズムの発展過程についての研究は今までほとんどなされてこなかった。そこで，本研究では地域のエコツーリズム発展過程を解明し，エコツーリズムの実現によって地域が特続的社会に変換する発展過程の仮説を提案した。また，エコツーリズムの評価を目的として，地域の主体性を頂点に据え，環境の保全・観光の発展・地域の振興の3要素を底辺に持つ三角錐型のエコツーリズム構造モデルを提案した。さらにこのモデルを利用したエコツーリズムの評価の可能性を示した。 : Ecotourism is a new type of tourism activity that has become popular worldwide since late l980's. It is the responsible tourism where both visitors and operators try to minimize the environmental impacts while the visitors enjoy nature at the destination. However, few studies have so far made at the process of ecotourism development. Thus, this study attempts to describe the development process of ecotourism with regard to regional perspective. The model characterized by structural regeneration of the regional society by ecotourism is shown. In addition, a tetrahedron structural model of ecotourism development is proposed. Three factors consisting of ecotourism, namely enhancement of conservation, promotion of tourism and contribution to regional economy, are amalgamated with regional autonomy in the model. The regional autonomy is located on the top of the tetrahedron with the basement formed by three ecotourism factors. It could be applied to the evaluation of ecotourism development. |
